How TeachersABC handles business applications and institution workspace information
First-release document
This is a first-release policy notice, not a signed contract or legal advice. Signed institution agreements and orders govern live transactions and will be professionally reviewed where appropriate.
- Scope: this policy covers the TeachersABC business website, partnership applications, and the institution workspace after approval. The contracting and payment entity will be the LingoDos Inc entity identified in the formal quote, order, and service agreement.
- Information collected: an application may include institution name, type, website, region, contact, work email, learner volume, launch timing, and business need. Workspace use also creates sign-in, permission, action, hour, class, support, and audit records.
- Purpose: information is used to assess and answer enquiries, create and protect accounts, deliver teacher and operations services, reconcile hours and payments, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, and meet legal obligations.
- Data minimization: the public form does not request learner names, card details, identity documents, or other sensitive records. Institutions must not submit those items through the application form.
- Learner and child data: only approved institutions may enter necessary records in the protected workspace. The institution is responsible for obtaining required authority and for lawful, appropriate collection and parent disclosures.
- Access and separation: institution users may access only their authorized institution scope. Administrative access, sensitive adjustments, and important actions are restricted and recorded.
- Service providers: hosting, email, payment reconciliation, support, and security providers process only what is needed for their work and are subject to contracts or applicable requirements.
- International processing and retention: cross-border teachers, a US operating entity, and services in different regions may be involved. Records are retained only as needed for service, disputes, audit, tax, and legal duties, then deleted or de-identified.
- Security and incidents: access control, protected transport, backups, and audit records are used, but no network service can promise absolute security. Incidents are handled and notified as applicable.
- Rights and contact: an institution or person may ask the formal partnership contact to access, correct, or delete information, subject to identity checks, contracts, and mandatory retention.
